Dear ladies, gentlemen, students, staff, and class of 2018. Today is the day that we graduate 8th grade. It felt like only a few days ago that I was walking into Hynes for my first day of kindergarten. In 2nd grade I remember sitting in this very Auditorium watching my brother graduate. It was so crazy to think that l myself will be up on this stage graduating 8th grade. But now that I am graduating I'm really nervous.  I don't know how it will feel being in such a big school with so many people because at Golf everyone knows each other. If you need help with something you know who to go to. Someone is always there to answer your questions. I have learned so much in my years at Golf and Hynes. I have formed so many memories. When I think of people who love me I think of my grandma. She is always their for me. We see each other very often. Even though she is over 80 we still do lots together. We look at pictures so I can see and remember old family members. We watch Tv together,s he also taught me how to be a cubs fan which I still am. My grandma is also a very good cook. She makes really good mondell bread, which is a long rectangular cookie with chocolate chips. My grandma has taught me to be good to yourself andothers.

                              April 8, 2017               Dear Diary, Today is the day before my Bar Mitzvah. I'm so nervous. My family and I took the day off of work and school to take the pictures and get everything ready. It was fun taking the day off of school but reality punched me in the gut and said your doing this for tomorrow. It made me even more scared because I have never been in front of so many people leading the service. When we were taking pictures my grandma kept saying you're going to do great, but I didn't think that at that moment. I was thinking about the party in the evening which was going to be so fun. Over the weekend I went to my cousin's first birthday. IT was somewhere in Wisconsin. It was at a little nature preserve which was pretty cool because there was a little pond that was frozen over.  My family and I went inside said hi to everyone and sat down.  I got some food and played on my phone. My brothers and I were getting bored so we went outside and went to the pond. I was so excited because I had never seen a pond that was was frozen. My older brother said not to go on it because we don't know how strong the ice was. I was so annoyed because I really wanted to play on the ice. I was putting one foot on the. I slowly put another foot on to see if it was safe and it was. Then my brothers came on. We actually found a hockey stick and a puck and a goal. We put the goal on the ice and started shooting the puck and throwing the snow at each other. It was funny because we kept falling. We did that for an hour then went in for some food. This was my first cubs game and the Cubs claw has a really funny story. So me and my dad were just minding our business with my new claw my dad got me and 2 women came up to us. They wanted to take a picture with my claw. I said yes so my dad said yes too. I gave them the claw and they went off to the side. They took some pictures with it and then came back. They handed me the claw and said because I was so cute they handed my dad a 20. My dad said no but I was shaking my head to say just take the money. Eventually he gave up and took the money. I had won. This was my first bears game. It was so cool because I got to dye my hair blue. While we were eating I went to sit down ate got back up and there was a giant to mark where my head was. I remember the day like it was just yesterday. I was just patrolling the desert to see If there were any enemies in the distance. Nothing happened and I just kept looking in my binoculars but nothing happened. It was about 2 hours until the sentry named Johnny came walking to me to check up with me and report back to base. I said there was no movement or anything. He said ok and said I have to get back to base. I didn’t want him to leave because it’s pretty boring in the middle of the desert watching sand. I told him to stay for a little bit. He said yes but only for a little bit because than the commander would get nervous and send troops to look for us. He sat down next to me and we started talking about our personal life because I don’t really know Johnny. I found out he has a wife a baby girl and a german shepard.  One day I would like to climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower which is 1,710 steps and 180 flights of stairs.. To practice for this whenever I am on an escalator I should walk not just stand there. I could also walk up the stairs to get to my doctors office which is 13 flights of stairs. I can also walk when there is nice weather to get to places. I can also ride my bike to get my leg muscles stronger.

This year there are some gifts that I want for Channukah.  A new phone. My phone is a 5c and a handy down so you can see why I want a new one. Rainbow Six Siege. It looks like a very fun fps ( first person shooter) and a lot of my friends have it. 10 lb Hershey bar. Who would not want a 10 lb bar of chocolate to get through a year of school. Google home. Its basically siri but you don't have to touch a button and you can play games with it. A new blanket. The blanket for my bed is not really warm and its not that soft  These are things I want to give My Grandma. I want to give her my Bar Mitzvah photos. My 2 baby cousins. I'm going to go shopping with my mom and get them toys. My little brother. I'm going to get him some Pokemon cards. I'm going to get my older brother a new hat because he loves them. My brothers and I are going to get my parents a gift card to go out to dinner. Those are the things I want and are going to give.

For this movie review I am going to talk about The Martian. It is about a team of astronauts that are in mars and a giant storm comes. All the astronauts accept Mark Whitney (Matt Damon) make it onto the ship and go back to space. Mark Whitney gets hit by a piece of shrapnel and gets knocked out. His team does not know he is alive so he has to figure out a way to make it back to his campsite and figure out a way to tell NASA that he is alive. Over the course of the movie he has to figure out how to create food, water and power. He also has to ration food and later get back to his crew members which are in space.  The movie was very good but if you don't have a lot of time do not watch it because it is 2 hours and 31 minutes long. Also if you don't like slow movies don't watch it. It is a very slow movie and you need a lot of patience. You also need to be careful because it drops the f-bomb mabye 3 times. There are many things I want for the new year but one of them is to be more active. I'm more of a person who likes to be playing ps4 instead of going out. I want to change that and get better at some sports like soccer and basketball. I also want to eat more fruit this year.

I was sitting in my bed at 10:00 at night thinking I have a lot to be thankful for. 1. My parents because if they can get me things and I can always count on them to be their for me 2. Books because I can always read one if I'm bored 3. My brothers because I can count on them to do something even though they can be annoying 4. I'm greatfull for my health because I can play sports and eat lots of food and still be healthy 5. I'm greatfull for all the electronics I have because some people don't have them 6. I'm greatfull for my grandma because she can always cheer me up and give great hug 7. My PS4 because I can always play it when I don't want to read 8. Friends because I can always do something with them 9. My Phone because I can always contact someone if I need to 10. The Cubs winning the World Series because I knew they could do it and I have been a fan since I was little That was my gratitude list and things I'm thankful for.

A good binge show to watch is Chicago fire. It has lots of drama and you will fall in love with each character. It is also forty minutes and there are 6 seasons and probably 20-25 episodes each season. Another good binge is Rick and Morty. If you want to laugh this is the perfect show because it is full of humor jokes and scifi action.

I think I would be Ponyboy because I have many qualities as him. I can be someone I'm not when I'm around some people. I will act kind of different. I also have 2 brothers. I have got a head injury before. I also like something not many people know like Ponyboy and the sunset. I really like going to the spa and sitting in a sauna.

What this means to me is that if you want to accomplish something you will get it done

I don't know what to talk about so I'm going to talk about me. I am colorblind. Not many people know. I have trouble seeing dark greens dark purples and dark blues. I have gotten used to it but sometimes my family will joke about it. I also got staples in my head when i was little. My brother was pushing me in my little Tike car down the driveway and I jumped out because it was going to fast so I cut open my head and had to go to the hospital. When I was in preschool I was walking towards my chair I slipped and my chin went into the side of the table and I had to get stitches. Those injures were six weeks apart and the doctors were worried that something was wrong.

I like to play sports like soccer and basketball. I love Rick and Morty, and playing PS4. I like to eat food especially meat. I like to read books. I hate doing homework and chores.

During my childhood my favorite toy was a cabbage patch doll named momo which was my dads when he was little. He was the best friend I could have when i was a baby. I would take him everywhere. To the store, to family members houses, and on every vacation. When I went on vacation and I couldn't find him I would get really nervous that I left him at home, but it was just hidden in a bag. I slept with him every night so If I was bad my mom would take him away and I would cry and throw a fit. Once I was calmed down she would talk to me and give him back. I always treated momo like a person so since everybody had to take a bath or a shower he had to go in the washing machine for his bath which was the worst day of the week. One day momo got washed and when he came out there was this hard black stuff on his fingers. I tried to take it off but it just ripped a little part of the material off of his pinkie.
